Hike Pedra Grande

Our journey commences at Avenida Santana in Atibaia, where we'll head towards the nearby Pedra Grande, a prominent spot favored by local climbers.

Upon reaching the trailhead of the Minha Deusa path, we will embark on an energizing hiking excursion leading to Pedra Grande. This trek, rated as medium-high difficulty, spans approximately 2 hours as we ascend and navigate through 700 meters (2,296 feet) of diverse terrain. Aiming for the peak, we’ll take the opportunity to pause and appreciate the magnificent natural vistas that accompany us.

At the top of Pedra Grande, we will be rewarded with a breathtaking panorama of Atibaia, showcasing its vast and lush green scenery. We will take this moment to delve into the history of the Serra do Itapetininga mountains, which cradle this natural wonder along our path.

Following our time at the summit, we will descend, allowing about 2 hours for a leisurely lunch amidst this picturesque landscape. Be sure to bring along your picnic! You can also wander along the adjacent trails, fully immersing yourself in the remarkable beauty of the Atlantic Forest.

Finally, we will regroup and make our way down the Minha Deusa trail. After 5 to 6 hours immersed in the wonders of nature, we will return to the starting point in Atibaia.
