Excursion to Mascota & Talpa de Allende

Your adventure begins at 7:30 am when we meet at your Puerto Vallarta hotel for a trip eastward to our first stops, the distinguished towns of Mascota and Talpa de Allende.

Before reaching our primary destination, we'll pause in the quaint township of La Estancia, where a delightful traditional Mexican breakfast awaits us.

Prepare to explore Mascota! As we wander through the historical center, you'll be captivated by its colonial architecture while learning about its rich past. Key landmarks include the church of Nuestra Señora de Los Dolores, the Municipal Palace, and the vision of the unfinished church of the Precious Blood, all while discovering how the Mexican Revolution influenced the incomplete construction.

After Mascota, we will make our way to Talpa de Allende, where you will have 1 hour and 20 minutes to savor lunch at a local restaurant. Following your meal, a guided tour of this Magical Town will ensue.

During this tour, we will visit the revered Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Talpa, a significant pilgrimage site attracting over three million visitors annually. The basilica, constructed in 1782, showcases a blend of Gothic and Churrigueresque architectural styles, and you'll have the chance to delve into its fascinating history.

Concluding our day, we will return to the minibus and will have you back at your hotel by approximately 8:30 pm.
