We will convene at the 226-kilometer mark of the Dr. Manoel Hipólito do Rêgo road at the designated time to embark on our hike towards the Torre 47 waterfall. Anticipate a day filled with adventure amidst the breathtaking surroundings of Bertioga's Atlantic Forest!

During our trek, which spans approximately 8 kilometers (5 miles), we will cross a bridge over the Jaguareguava River and delve deeper into the Serra do Mar, where the unique Atlantic forest region flourishes. This area is notable for its abundant wildlife, so keep your eyes peeled for native birds and various butterfly species.

Our route will bring us to the Torre 47 waterfall. Are you curious about the story behind its name? The trail will reveal this mystery as we near transmission tower 47, which plays a crucial role in transmitting electricity from Itatinga to the port of Santos.

Upon reaching the waterfall, you will have the chance to enjoy the breathtaking view and take a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear natural pool located at its base.

After indulging in this natural retreat, we will retrace our steps back to the starting point in Bertioga, arriving approximately 5 to 6 hours after the hike began.
