Join this guided visit to Casa Vermouth Padró, where you will delve into the workings of a family-run winery nestled in Tarragona, renowned for its wines and vermouths. A delightful tasting experience awaits you!
Tour Details
We will convene at the entrance of Casa Vermouth Padró at the scheduled time for our exploration of this family-owned establishment in the town of Bràfim.
The experience begins with a welcome glass of wine. Following this, we will delve into the rich history of this storied winery, situated in Cal Garriga, a manor house established in 1776. You will have the opportunity to view various sections, including the herbal and botanical gardens, live plant nurseries, areas for infusion and maceration, as well as the barrel and cask rooms, and foudres.
During our tour, you'll learn about the process behind crafting vermouths, examining the herbs, spices, roots, flowers, citrus peels, and other essential components. You will also see firsthand the methods employed by the staff to enhance wine, alcohol, botanical infusions, color, sweetness, and other key elements.
After wandering through the various rooms, courtyards, and gardens of the manor, we will wrap up this 2-hour journey with a tasting of 8 vermouths, paired with chips and olives. For those aged 12 to 17 and any adults opting out of the vermouth tasting, refreshing orange or pineapple juice will be offered.
Post-tasting, you will have the option to buy vermouth and other products at the winery's shop.

15 minutes before the designated time, you'll need to make your way to Casa Vermouth Padró, located at Carrer d'Avall, 17, 43812 Bràfim, Tarragona.
If you do not have your own vehicle, the best option is to take a train to the Alta Velocidad (AVE) Camp de Tarragona train station. From here, you can reach Bràfim by taxi in about 20 minutes.
Please note that alcoholic drinks will only be served to people over 18 years old.
