Lanzarote Surf School

Upon booking your surfing course, you can select from the following options:

2-hour Course

If time is limited but you're eager to learn surfing, this session is ideal. We'll begin with essential skills on the beach before moving on to the waves at Caleta de Famara.

You will experience the unique sensation of freedom on the surfboard, which is unmatched by any other activity, while enjoying the company of fellow learners.

Schedule

You can choose one of the following start times:

• At 10 am, concluding at 12 pm (arrive by 9:15)
• At 12:30 pm, concluding at 2:30 pm (arrive by 11:45)

4-hour Course

After we pick you up from the designated meeting location, your surfing journey will commence. Our skilled instructors will guide you through the fundamentals, starting with practice on the sand before heading into the water. Once you’re warmed up and have absorbed the basics, we'll take the surfboards out to tackle the waves. It's common to fall during your initial attempts, but as the experts suggest, resilience is key—so don't hesitate to get back up!

This course comprises two sessions. The first session runs from 10 am to 12 pm, followed by a brief half-hour intermission, with the second session from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm.

3-day Course

For those looking to extend their stay in this beautiful part of Lanzarote, this option is perfect. You’ll receive all the necessary surf equipment, suitable for both beginners and more seasoned surfers. Additionally, this course includes a 2-hour photo session, providing you with treasured keepsakes from your adventure!

Schedule

• Throughout the 3-day course, the lessons will be divided into two segments. The first segment will occur from 10 am to 12 pm, followed by a half-hour break before the second segment from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm.

Important

The 2-hour and 4-hour surf courses are designed specifically for beginners.

Pickup

Only the 4-hour course includes pickup from your accommodation. However, if two or more individuals book together, we provide a complimentary transfer service from hotels in Puerto del Carmen, Arrecife, Puerto Calero, or Costa Teguise. During the reservation process, please provide your hotel name and contact number.

If your hotel is outside these areas or if you're booking as a single participant, the transfer service is unavailable. In this case, please meet us at Calima Surf School, located at Avenida el Marinero, 13, 45 minutes before your scheduled class.
