Culinary Experience and Salsa Dancing

Our journey begins at 9 am at Plaza de la Independencia, where we will set off on a gastronomic exploration of Callao, recognized as the foremost port city in South America during the colonial period.

Our first stop will be at the esteemed Rovira restaurant, where you’ll enjoy a delightful tasting featuring bread and traditional pejerrey, a local fish that is a staple in many dishes of the South Pacific region.

Following our snack, we will hop aboard a boat, embarking on a scenic tour around the port of Callao. While on the water, you will be treated to stunning views and will have the chance to see the historic Real Felipe fortress before we arrive at the Chucuito neighborhood.

Once we disembark, we will visit the Mirador de la Rivera restaurant. Here, the owners will introduce you to the fresh ingredients used in their signature dishes like ceviche chalaco. As a highlight of the visit, they will guide us through the process of making this exquisite dish, providing you with valuable culinary skills to share back home.

After the cooking demonstration, we’ll enjoy a well-deserved seafood lunch featuring local products.

To add a festive ending to our day, we will participate in an exciting salsa dancing class with live music. Our adventure wraps up, and we’ll return you to the meeting point by 2 pm.
