Description

We will convene at the scheduled time at the wineries of Castelnuovo del Garda. Upon arrival of all participants, we will set the stage to explore the philosophy, heritage, and facilities of this esteemed wine producer.

To kick off our adventure, we will wander through the vineyard alongside the owner, who will share insights about the various grape varieties cultivated on the estate. Following this informative stroll, we will embark on our wine tasting, which includes a selection of 6 wines paired with a delightful platter of cold meats and cheeses.

Our tasting journey commences with a refreshing Custoza, a well-known white wine from the region, transitioning to a Chiaretto, a signature rosé made from a blend of Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara grapes native to Lake Garda. Next, we will savor the Bardolino DOC, a hallmark of the winery, followed by a Garda Corvina DOC 100% Corvina, known for its fresh and vibrant profile.

As we near the end of our tasting, we will sample the Ettore IGT, a blend of Corvina, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot that has been aged in wood for 18 months. Finally, we'll conclude with the Greta IGT, a unique wine crafted from grapes dried in the vineyard—a rare and intricate process contributing to its distinctive character.

After an enriching 1.5 hours of indulging in these exquisite wines, our tour will come to a close.
