Day Trip Overview

At the designated time, we will collect you from your hotel in Cusco and embark on our journey to the Cochahuasi Animal Sanctuary. Prepare for an unforgettable experience with some of the most celebrated creatures of Peru!

After a travel period of around 30 minutes, we will reach the rescue center, where a guided tour lasting between 45 and 60 minutes awaits. During this engaging visit, you will learn the touching tales of the animals residing here and discover the initiatives aimed at protecting Andean wildlife.

Witness the awe-inspiring Andean condor up close, and observe pumas, spectacled bears, monkeys, turtles, exotic birds, and various other rehabilitated species. In select areas, you may have the opportunity to interact with some of the animals under the guidance of the sanctuary's knowledgeable staff.

Following the guided portion, you will enjoy 15 to 20 minutes of leisure time to further explore the sanctuary at your own pace, capture photos, or visit the gift shop.

Concluding our trip, we will return to Cusco and drop you off at your hotel approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes after the initial pickup.

This experience includes pickup from hotels in central Cusco. If your accommodation is located outside this area, we can arrange to meet at the Plaza de Armas.

Informazioni importanti

On the day of the activity, we’ll pick you up from your Cusco hotel at the scheduled time. Please be ready in the reception area at least 10 minutes early.

Please note that pickup is only included for hotels located in central Cusco. If you’re staying outside this area, you must make your own way to the meeting point by the fountain in Cusco’s Plaza de Armas.
