Via Ferrata in the Sacred Valley of the Incas

Upon reserving your adventure, you'll have the option to select from four distinct activities. Each begins promptly at 8 am and encompasses hotel pickup and drop-off, a knowledgeable English-speaking guide, and a delightful lunch served at the highest viewpoint in the Sacred Valley. Below, discover the intricacies of each option:

Via Ferrata

This experience allows you to ascend the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Equipped with helmets and harnesses, we will navigate the via ferrata securely, exploring one of Peru's most stunning natural environments.

As we trace the path of the steel cable, we will climb metal stairs and traverse hanging bridges. Once we reach the summit, we’ll enjoy our meal while soaking in the breathtaking vistas.

After our culinary pause, we will descend and make our way back to Urubamba.

Zipline

For this option, we will take a different route to access the Sacred Valley's highest point. After replenishing our energy with a satisfying meal, you’ll get to zip down 7 lines, varying from 490 feet (150 meters) to an exhilarating 2,300 feet (700 meters) in length. Prepare for a thrilling experience!

Short Zipline

In this variant, we’ll first scale the via ferrata, and after lunch, you’ll have the chance to fly down 3 ziplines. These lines span between 560 feet (170 meters) and 660 feet (200 meters), making them ideal for those seeking a milder adventure.

Via Ferrata & Zipline

This option offers the best of both worlds! We’ll navigate the natural terrain and following a tasty lunch at the highest point of the Sacred Valley, brace yourself for an exhilarating descent on 7 zipline cables.

Pickup Information

The tour includes pickup from hotels located in central Cusco (near the main square) on streets accessible to vehicles. Should your accommodation be elsewhere, we will reach out to organize an alternative pickup location.

On the day of the activity, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at the scheduled time. Please be ready 10 minutes early.

The tour includes pickup from hotels in the centre of Cusco (close to the Plaza de Armas) and that are located on streets that are accessible to vehicles. If you're staying somewhere else, we'll contact you to provide an alternative pickup point.

Important

Exceptionally, your place will not be automatically reserved. The local provider will contact you within 48 hours to confirm if you can do the tour on the selected date and time. If this is not possible and you do not wish to change the time or day, a full refund will be given.

Recommendations

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes, long trousers and a long-sleeved polo shirt, hiking shoes or trainers and a light jacket and bringing a small rucksack and water (at least 1/2 litres, or you can also bring an empty bottle as there's a purified water jerrycan at the base). People under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any psychoactive substances will not be allowed to enter.
