Horse Riding Adventure in Tequila & Distillery Experience with Tasting

Your journey begins between 8:30 and 8:45 am, when we will collect you from your accommodation in Guadalajara and head to the picturesque town of Amatitán, traversing vast stretches of agave fields. This remarkable plant serves as a key ingredient in the production of sweeteners and spirits like tequila and mezcal.

Upon arriving in Amatitán, your first tequila tasting will take place on a scenic terrace that offers sweeping views of the agave plantations. During this time, your guide will share insights into the best practices for enjoying tequila. You may just discover that there’s more to it than you expected!

Following the tasting, your horses will be prepared for an excursion through stunning agave canyons and parts of the Poblado, eventually making our way to Tequila. A stop at La Cofradía distillery will provide a closer look at the tequila production process, where you will also enjoy a second tasting featuring tequila, agave liqueur, and jima.

Upon reaching Tequila, we will embark on a guided exploration of this beautiful town, celebrated as one of Mexico's Magical Towns. You'll then have some free time to wander, grab lunch, or explore local shops.

In conclusion, we will regroup for the return journey, riding back on horseback to our initial meeting point, followed by a bus ride back to Guadalajara. You can expect to arrive at your hotel approximately five to six hours after your pickup.

Pickup Information

Hotel pickup is available for accommodations situated in the downtown Guadalajara area, Zona Minerva, or Zona Expo. If your location is outside these zones, we will reach out to coordinate a convenient meeting point.
