Discovering Thuy Bieu and Hue by Bicycle

Your journey begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Hue. From there, we will cycle to the Imperial City, a citadel established in 1805 that showcases some of the oldest landmarks of Hue.

We'll commence our exploration at the Hien Lam Pavilion where the 9 dynastic urns can be found, intricately adorned with symbols of flowers and Vietnamese cultural motifs. As we delve into the significance behind these designs, we'll make our way to The Mieu Temple. Be sure to keep your camera handy!

Our next stop includes the splendid Theater, Garden, and Royal Library, where the exquisite decorations of dragons and gold accents are bound to mesmerize you. We will continue our cycling adventure towards the Thien Miu Pagoda, also known as the Pagoda of the Heavenly Lady, which holds the title of being the oldest pagoda in Hue!

As we proceed, we will load our bicycles onto a boat and glide along the serene Perfume River to reach Thuy Bieu. Here, we’ll hop back on our bikes to navigate the quaint streets of this village. We will have the opportunity to explore small workshops specializing in incense and joss paper and even meet a local family of paper artisans.

Next, we will take a break at a local family’s house for an engaging Vietnamese cooking class, followed by sharing a home-cooked lunch together, making for a truly immersive experience!

To conclude our cycling journey, we will unwind with a rejuvenating foot massage using medicinal herbal waters, a time-honored therapeutic practice cherished in Thuy Bieu!

Finally, we will return to your hotel in Hue, bringing our adventure to an end approximately 6 to 7 hours after our initial pickup.
