Embark on a captivating journey through Peek A Boo Canyon, situated to the north of Kanab. As we traverse this stunning landscape, you'll encounter remarkable 30-meter high (100 feet) red rock cliffs, perfect for capturing striking photographs of the distinctive surroundings.

Peek A Boo Canyon Adventure

Our meeting point is the Kane County Information Center, where we’ll gather before continuing approximately 16 kilometers (10 miles) north of Kanab.

Once we arrive, we’ll explore one of the region’s most iconic natural features, the Red Canyon, popularly referred to as Peek A Boo. This intricate landscape of dramatic gorges and narrow passages beautifully explains the canyon's name.

Upon entering the canyon, we will enjoy a hike along the winding paths. Access to the canyon involves a sandy trail with a brief segment through rolling sand dunes. As we weave through the towering rock formations, you will be struck by the stunning reddish sandstone vistas that rise up to 30 meters (100 feet) high.

We’ll make the most of the sunlight hitting the canyon at optimum angles, allowing you to capture incredible photographs. Although Peek A Boo may not be as widely visited as other canyons in Utah or Arizona, it is equally breathtaking and magnificent. Its lesser-known status means we can explore its chambers peacefully, away from large tourist groups.

At the conclusion of our adventure, we will return to Kanab and drop you off at the starting location around 12:30 pm.
