Description
At the agreed time, we will collect you from your hotel in La Rioja and set off towards the Triassic Canyon. Are you prepared to capture the essence of one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the region with your camera?
Traveling in a 4x4, we will navigate through the northwest of Argentina, passing through picturesque landscapes characterized by arid riverbeds and steep gorges. Our journey will then take us into the Reserva Municipal Colorados de Banda Florida, the protected area that houses the renowned Triásico Canyon.
As we venture further off the beaten path, you will uncover remarkable insights about this impressive gorge that dates back over 250 million years. The sight of the towering reddish rock formations dominating the scenery will leave you in awe!
Additionally, we will delve into the rich flora and fauna found in this part of La Rioja. Have you ever wondered how the Triásico Canyon transforms during drought periods?
After an exhilarating day, we will return to your hotel in La Rioja, concluding the excursion approximately three hours later.
