Pearl Islands Whale Watching

This whale-watching excursion to the Pearl Islands, departing from Panama City, offers you the chance to discover a vibrant marine ecosystem and witness breathtaking ocean views.

Tour Overview

At your scheduled time, our team will come to collect you from your accommodation in Panama City to embark on an exciting whale watching expedition in the Pearl Islands.

To kick off the day revitalized, you will be welcomed aboard with a delicious sandwich and a bottle of water. Our journey will commence from either Marina del Hotel Hyatt or Amador, where we will board a boat.

We will then set sail for approximately 2 hours in pursuit of humpback whales, which migrate annually between the Northern and Southern hemispheres from July to October. Keep a lookout; you might catch a glimpse of these magnificent creatures showcasing their spectacular behaviors. Did you know they can live for up to 200 years?

Upon reaching the Pearl Islands, we will transfer to a traditional vessel that will ferry us to one of the island beaches, with stops at Chapera or Chapeca depending on sea conditions.

Next, we will visit Mogo Mogo Island, where you will enjoy 2 hours of leisure time to explore the island, bask in the sun, or snorkel in the exquisite waters of the Pacific Ocean.

When hunger strikes, a delightful lunch awaits you, featuring options of chicken or fish accompanied by seasonal ingredients. Enjoy your meal!

Following lunch, we will return to the starting point before heading back to your hotel, where we will conclude our adventure after approximately 9 hours.
