At the appointed hour, we will meet you at your hotel in Pinar del Río. Are you set for an engaging experience? The focal point of this adventure is tobacco, a crop that will lead us to the lands renowned for the finest cigars globally. We will delve into the cultural aspects, traditions, and harvesting methods that contribute to the legendary status of this Cuban product.

Our journey begins with a visit to the illustrious Francisco Donatien cigar factory. Here, skilled artisans craft some of Pinar del Río's most distinguished cigars, featuring the celebrated Trinidad and Vegueros lines.

Next, we will proceed to a despalillo area, where the tobacco leaves undergo the delicate process of deveining and selection based on their quality, size, and texture. Observing this stage will unveil the significance of this procedure in the cigar-making process.

The journey continues at the DeCuba "Arte en Madera" workshop, where we will gain insights into the crafting of humidors, vital for maintaining the aroma and flavor of cigars.

Our adventure then leads us to the magnificent Vega Quemado de Rubí estate, situated in the town of San Juan y Martínez. Here, we will witness the intricate hand-twisting of tobacco leaves.
