During your buggy adventure in Guatiza and Mala, you can choose between a 2 or 3-hour experience. Both tours commence at Calle Goleta, from where we’ll proceed to the buggy parking area. Are you ready to embark on this journey?

2-Hour Tour

We will start our thrilling adventure as we navigate the off-road paths of Guatiza. This quaint village enjoyed a significant economic surge in the 19th century, primarily due to its production of the red cochineal. Throughout the tour, you will uncover the intriguing applications of this remarkable insect!

As we proceed, we’ll also explore Guatiza's quarries, which reveal a unique aspect of the area's history. Our exploration will then take us to the well-known Los Cocoteros salt mines, operational since 1940. Before concluding the tour, we will stop in the village of Mala to appreciate the stunning cacti, providing insights into the rich agricultural heritage of Lanzarote.

After an exhilarating 2-hour journey, we’ll return to our starting point to end the tour.

3-Hour Tour

If you prefer a more comprehensive experience, the 3-hour buggy tour is ideal! Not only will you enjoy the same route of the 2-hour option, but we will also visit the impressive Mala dam. Nestled in the Palomo Valley, this remarkable structure offers breathtaking views of the Estanque ravine. Get ready to be mesmerized by the stunning landscape!
