Descrizione
This sea lion watching excursion in Plettenberg Bay invites you to explore the fascinating behaviors of these creatures in their natural surroundings.
Plettenberg Bay Sea Lion Excursion
At the appointed time, we will gather at Central Beach to board a vessel that will take us across the waters of Plettenberg Bay, seeking the charming sea lions. Let your journey commence!
Aboard the boat, we'll navigate the stunning South African coastline, soaking in the rugged and picturesque landscape of the bay. This vibrant ecosystem is home not only to sea lions but, with a bit of luck, we might also encounter dolphins, white sharks, and various seabirds!
As we approach the Robberg Peninsula, where a significant colony of Cape sea lions resides, you will learn all about these gentle giants, known for their docile and sociable nature in the sea. It's quite common to witness them swimming alongside scuba divers!
Here, you will observe firsthand their social interactions and playfulness both on land and in the water, presenting a captivating display of natural behavior.
After approximately an hour and a half, this sea lion watching experience will come to an end as we return to Plettenberg Bay.
