Potosí City & Mines Tour + Thuru Museum

At your selected time, we will gather on Calle Ayacucho to commence our guided exploration of Potosí's historic center.

Over the course of 1 hour and 30 minutes, we'll navigate through the enchanting streets of the old town, taking a moment to appreciate 10 November Square. Here, we will observe the stunning façade of the Potosí Cathedral as well as the historic Mint. Our journey will continue as we admire the impressive exteriors of iconic landmarks including the Tower of the Society of Jesus and the Convent of Santa Teresa.

A brief stop will allow us to appreciate the famous Cobija Arch before we stroll along the bustling central Boulevard, the principal pedestrian thoroughfare of the city. Following our guided tour, we'll venture into the popular mining market to uncover its most sought-after goods.

Subsequently, we will proceed to the Kunty Mine and a nearby refining facility, where we’ll observe both crucial industrial sites from an external perspective. Our next destination will be the Thuru Museum, where an extensive collection of minerals and historical mining equipment from the colonial period awaits us.

Upon completing our visit to the Thuru Museum, we will make our way back to the heart of Potosí, with a total tour duration of 4 hours and 30 minutes.
