Details of the Horseback Ride

Upon collecting you from your hotel at the arranged time, we will proceed to the Puntacana Resort & Club, a prime destination situated on the eastern coast of the Dominican Republic. Prepare to enter a serene paradise!

After reaching the resort, we will enjoy a short introductory session before heading to the stables for a warm welcome to our equine companions. Our adventure will then take us through the tropical forest enveloping the resort, where dense vegetation awaits as we become acquainted with the horses.

The journey will lead us along scenic paths showcasing the striking contrast between white sandy beaches and the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean Sea. We will pause at the Horse Lounge, a shaded area near the mangroves, for a light snack and hydration.

Resuming our horseback ride, we will venture toward Playa Blanca, where a truly enchanting experience awaits as we let the horses wade into the water. Once submerged, the aquatic movements will feel smoother, showcasing their swimming prowess! Our next point of interest will be the resort’s polo field and stables.

At this location, we will discuss the intricacies of the sport and the living standards of the horses. Topics will include the care these magnificent animals receive, along with insights into their diet and training routines. You will also get the chance to feed the horses at the conclusion of our journey.

Finally, we will return to your hotel, bidding farewell after a fulfilling excursion lasting approximately 3.5 hours.
