We'll meet you at your hotel in Salvador at the scheduled time to kick off our day trip to Cachoeira. Are you ready for the adventure? Let’s begin!

Our first destination will be the charming town of Santo Amaro, where we'll take in the sights of its church, market, and impressive colonial mansions. Additionally, we will explore the house and church of the Humildes, enriching our understanding of the local heritage.

Then, we’ll move on to our main stop: Cachoeira. Upon arrival, you will notice that this National Heritage Site has successfully maintained its historical and architectural charm. Key to this are its magnificent churches, the Third Order of Mount Carmel and Our Lady of the Rosary, both standing as testaments to its rich past.

We will also visit the house of the Sisterhood of Our Lady of the Good Death, where the narrative of Brazil’s racial justice struggles is honored, intertwining history and culture seamlessly!

Continuing our journey, we'll cross the Paraguaçu River to reach São Felix. Here, we’ll pause at a local ranch to enjoy a delicious lunch featuring traditional regional dishes.

After our meal, we'll proceed to the final highlight of our day trip, the Talvis cigar factory, where you’ll gain insights into the art of traditional cigar making.

As our adventure draws to a close, we will return to the starting location approximately 10 hours after we set off.
