Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel in San Jose at 7 am, as we head toward the Tarcoles River to encounter some remarkable reptiles!

After a drive of about an hour, we will reach the Tarcoles River, one of the four rivers flowing into the Gulf of Nicoya. Here, we will board a boat and set off on our quest to observe the crocodiles. This location harbors one of the largest crocodile populations anywhere!

For two hours, we will navigate the river, discovering fascinating details about these iconic creatures. Did you know they can reach lengths of up to five meters?

Additionally, we will explore the Guacalillo Estuary, home to a stunning ecosystem featuring four varieties of mangroves. Following the adventure, we will rejuvenate with a traditional lunch at the South Beach Hotel in Jacó, providing a perfect moment for rest and relaxation.
