Situated in the heart of Lowry Park Central, ZooTampa serves as a vibrant habitat filled with global wildlife.

Since its inception in 1930, with just a few raccoons, alligators, and an aviary, the zoo has significantly expanded, embracing a greater variety of animal families.

Your journey through ZooTampa will introduce you to creatures from Asia, including Indian rhinoceroses, Malayan tigers, and warthogs. Additionally, you'll encounter African species such as elephants, giraffes, hippos, and okapis. Of course, the facility also showcases Florida's native wildlife, featuring residents like river otters and American bald eagles, allowing you a world tour without leaving the park!
