Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Accra. Are you ready to explore the highlights of the enchanting "Garden City"? Let’s embark!

Our first destination is the Manhyia Palace Museum, where we will immerse ourselves in the heritage of the Ashanti people through an informative documentary. A guided tour of the original palace rooms will provide insight into the profound legacy of the Ashanti Empire. Who was Yaa Asantewaa and what was her pivotal role during the Ashanti uprising?

Next, we will head to the Okomfo Anokye Sword Site to uncover the founding legends of the Ashanti nation. Did you know this site houses the immovable sword of Okomfo Anokye? Legend has it that this sword was embedded nearly 300 years ago, and to this day, it remains lodged in the ground. It is said that the Ashanti state would face dire consequences if anyone were to remove it.

We'll pause for a lunch break, allowing you time to enjoy a meal at your convenience. Following this, our journey continues to the Prempeh II Museum, a replica of an Ashanti chief's residence. Here, you will discover ceremonial attire, ornamental jewelry, protective amulets, personal artifacts, furniture, and royal regalia, offering a closer look into the local culture. We will also explore the vibrant atmosphere of the Kejetia Market, one of the largest markets in Ghana.

As we make our way back to Accra, we will visit the Bonwire Kente Weaving Centre, the birthplace of the renowned "kente" fabric, which was prized by the king of Ashanti. Its vibrant colors and intricate patterns are sure to captivate you!

After a full day of exploration spanning approximately 15 hours, we will return to your hotel in Accra.
