Antwerp Legends & Mysteries Evening Tour

Can you hear that? Each evening, the bells of Antwerp Cathedral announce the end of the day. We will gather at the designated hour in Grote Markt Square, beside the central statue of the Brabo Fountain, to kick off our exploration of the captivating legends and mysteries of this renowned Flemish city.

As you stand before the sophisticated facade of the Antwerp City Hall, you will glimpse the statue of Silvius Brabo, a legendary Roman soldier. The tale behind his act of hurling a giant's hand toward the river is both fascinating and rich in history. On the front of the council building, a monumental shield displaying the emblem of Spain reveals the historic ties between the Spanish monarchy and Belgium.

Our evening tour continues within the grounds of the Cathedral of Our Lady. Beneath the imposing bell tower, prepare to hear a chilling true story that unfolded in this very location. We will also wander through the city's red light district, where revealing tales and anecdotes about some of its most notorious locals await your discovery.

As we follow the scenic banks of the river Scheldt, we will reach the MAS Museum aan de Stroom (Museum by the River). This architectural marvel stands as an emblem of the city, and from its stunning rooftop terrace, you will be treated to breathtaking views of the port of Antwerp.

After approximately 1.5 hours, we will wrap up our engaging tour.
