Your adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Arusha at 8 am, followed by a journey in a 4x4 vehicle to the village of Materuni, where we will embark on our trek to Materuni Waterfalls.

As we traverse the vibrant paths, we'll share insights about the diverse flora and fauna found in lower Mount Kilimanjaro. This hour-long hike to the waterfalls will also provide glimpses of the homes of the Chagga community, the local inhabitants of this region.

Upon reaching the Materuni Waterfalls, you'll be struck by the majestic beauty of this towering cascade, with waters originating from the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. Feel free to take your time here, enjoying the scenery and even refreshing yourself in its pools.

After recharging with a picnic lunch, we will proceed with the journey. In this next segment, we’ll explore a coffee plantation, where we’ll delve into the fascinating details of this beloved beverage. Witness the roasting process and savor a cup of exquisite local coffee.

Lastly, we will return to the 4x4 for the drive back to your hotel in Arusha, with an expected arrival around 5 pm.
