The Agora of Athens is accessible during the following hours:
- April 1 to June 30: 8 am to 8 pm
- July 1 to August 31: 8 am to 7:30 pm
- September 1 to 15: 8 am to 7 pm
- September 16 to 30: 8 am to 6:30 pm
- October 1 to 15: 8 am to 6 pm
- October 16 to 31: 8 am to 5:30 pm
Please note that the last admission occurs 30 minutes prior to closing.
Skip-The-Line Entry
This ticket is suitable for visitors of all ages, allowing you to bypass the lengthy queues at the ticket office. However, the following individuals may enter for free by providing valid identification at the ticket office:
- Individuals over 25 who are currently participating in secondary education or vocational training from EU Member States or nations within the European Economic Area.
- Starting April 1, 2025, EU citizens under 25 years old and non-EU citizens under 18 can enter free by displaying their ID at the ticket office.

- The scheduled date and/or time slot cannot be modified under any circumstances.
- This offer provides standard admission at the adult rate, applicable to visitors of any age, all paying the full price.
- Visitors aged 65 and above are eligible for a 50% discount, applicable only at the ticket office or through the Agora of Athens webpage.
- As the monument operates on a timed-entry basis, availability of tickets for your chosen slot cannot be guaranteed.
- Access is permitted solely during the booked time slot or within 15 minutes before or after.
- Individuals with disabilities can enter without charge by presenting their disability certificate at the ticket office.

Before the activity, you'll receive an email from the local team with your ticket and all the instructions you need to follow to download the audio guide. On the day of the activity, you must present your printed or electronic ticket in PDF format at the entrance to the Agora of Athens, located at Adrianou 24, Τ.Κ. 10555, Athens.
Opening Times
The Agora of Athens is open at the following times:
- April 1 to June 30: 8 am to 8 pm
- July 1 to August 31: 8 am to 7:30 pm
- September 1 to 15: 8 am to 7 pm
- September 16 to 30: 8 am to 6:30 pm
- October 1 to 15: 8 am to 6 pm
- October 16 to 31: 8 am to 5:30 pm
Final admission is always 30 minutes before closing time.
Partial Closures
Please keep in mind that monuments in Greece are closed on the following dates due to local holidays:
- January 1
- March 25
- April 12
- May 1
- December 25 and 26
Skip-The-Line Ticket
This ticket is valid for all ages and allows you to skip the long queues at the ticket office. However, the following people can enter free of charge by presenting their supporting ID at the ticket office:
