The journey begins at 3:30 pm in the Plaza Mayor. Here, we kick off our exploration of Ayacucho, delving into its rich history. This central square showcases remarkable colonial architecture, including the Casa de Baza y Solís and the stunning baroque Cathedral.

As we meander through its charming streets, you'll encounter an array of colonial-style houses adorned with vibrant colors. The adventure continues as we visit the Hipólito Unanue Museum, where we will uncover the legacy of ancient Peruvian civilizations such as the Chimú, Moche, Wari, and Inca.

Our next stop will be the Santa Teresa de las Carmelitas Descalzas Monastery. Did you know that Ayacucho is referred to as "the city of churches"? Challenge yourself to count how many churches you spot during our tour!

Renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship, Ayacucho also offers a glimpse into the Santa Ana neighborhood, known for its intricate huamanga stone carving techniques and weaving traditions. Our final destination will be the Acuchimay Viewpoint, where you can take in stunning panoramic views of the city.
