Montserrat Wine Tour
Descrição
Exquisite wines and delectable dishes await on this day excursion to Montserrat, where you'll savor local flavors amid breathtaking natural scenery.
Montserrat Wine & Tapas Day Excursion
Departing from the Barcelona Nord Terminal in the heart of the city, we will embark on a one-hour journey to the stunning Montserrat mountain range. Our knowledgeable guide will regale us with tales of the region's rich history and cultural heritage along the way.
Visit to Montserrat Monastery
Our initial stop will be the Montserrat Monastery. Here, you'll experience an engaging guided tour that delves into the intriguing stories and legends surrounding 'La Moreneta', the revered Black Madonna, safeguarded by monks for centuries. While at the monastery, you'll have approximately an hour of leisure time to visit the Museum of Montserrat, wander through the surrounding area, and soak in the breathtaking mountain vistas.
Discovery at a Local Winery
Following our monastery visit, we'll proceed to a nearby winery, where you'll discover the region's time-honored winemaking practices and gain insight into the captivating wine production process. A visit to this winery wouldn't be complete without a wine tasting experience. During this part of the trip, we'll sample three exceptional wines from Montserrat paired with a selection of traditional homemade tapas. A true treat for the senses!
After savoring these delightful local specialties, we will head back to Barcelona. You can expect to arrive in the city center approximately 7.5 hours after we first departed.
