Embark on a journey from the charming Argentinean town of Bariloche to the beautiful Chilean city of Puerto Varas via a Trans-Andean route. This remarkable excursion traverses the majestic Andes, the most extensive mountain range in South America!

Trans-Andean Bus Journey to Chile

At the designated time, we will gather you from your selected meeting point in Bariloche and set off towards Puerto Pañuelo. Are you prepared for the adventure? Let's begin!

Upon arrival at Puerto Pañuelo, we'll board a catamaran for a scenic cruise across Nahuel Huapi Lake to reach Puerto Blest. During our passage, marvel at the breathtaking views of the rich forests surrounding us.

After disembarking at Puerto Blest, we'll transition to a bus that will take us from the Frías River border to Puerto Alegre. There, another boat will await us for a brief trip to Puerto Frías. In just 20 minutes, we will arrive at the harbor to complete the required procedures before entering Chile via this stunning Andean route.

Once we cross into Chile, we will drive through the Pérez Rosales National Park, headed towards Peulla, where the lush greenery of the Andes Mountains will captivate us. A brief stop in Peulla will allow us to enjoy a meal at one of the local restaurants.

Following our lunch, we will set off again on a boat across Lake Todos Los Santos, aiming for Petrohué. If luck is on our side and time permits, we will be treated to spectacular views of the Osorno and Tronador Volcanoes, along with Puntiagudo Hill.

Your journey will continue to the stunning Petrohué Falls as we navigate alongside Llanquihue Lake until we ultimately arrive at our destination, Puerto Varas. After approximately 12 hours together, we will bid farewell in the heart of the city.
