Our journey begins at 9 am, gathering at the Tourist Office in Benicassim before boarding a minibus for a 40-minute trip to Peniscola.

Upon our arrival, we will embark on a guided walking tour through the charming old town. We will first visit the historic artillery park, providing a perfect view of the majestic Peniscola Castle. Did you know that this iconic structure was built by the Knights Templar during the late 1200s?

Next, we’ll explore the castle’s interior and delve into the life of its most notable resident: Pedro Martínez de Luna, known as Pope Luna. Discover the story behind his exile in Peniscola and why he was perceived as an antipope by many in the Catholic community.

We will also encounter the 'bufador', a natural seawater blowhole created in the rocks that has become a local attraction. Can you hear the crashing waves?
