We will gather at 9:15 am at Abra de Canasí, conveniently located near Boca de Canasí, to kick off an invigorating trek through this northern Cuban reserve. Let's set off!

Our adventure begins with a warm welcome from a local fishing family, who will serve us a delightful breakfast comprising coffee, toast, and fresh fruit to fuel our journey. Following this, we'll wade across the Canasí River to access a trail, setting the stage for a 30-minute exploration. Along the way, we’ll traverse a lush forest populated with a variety of coves, palm trees, seedlings, and yagrumas.

Upon reaching our destination, known as La Cazuela, we’ll be treated to stunning vistas of the Atlantic Ocean. Make sure to capture this breathtaking scene of crystal-clear waters with your camera. Afterward, we’ll don our snorkelling gear to discover this underwater paradise, allowing you to dive in with the grace of professional divers. Below the surface, you’ll encounter vibrant tropical fish, turtles, and the striking elkhorn corals.

It's time for a break! We’ll pause in a serene forest setting to enjoy a light lunch, featuring a sandwich, snacks, fruit, and water. Refreshed and rejuvenated, we’ll start our return journey to the meeting point, culminating our experience by 3 pm.
