Located at 41 Rue Borie, in the Chartrons neighbourhood, the Wine and Trade Museum in Bordeaux is a key place to learn the secrets of production and marketing of Bordeaux wines. This ticket allows for a self-paced visit to the museum, housed in a former 18th century Irish cooperage near the banks of the River Garonne. The first room covers the history of the port of Bordeaux and its role in the wine trade in Europe.

The second room explores winemaking methods and techniques utilized by Bordeaux winegrowers throughout history. Information about the vineyards of the Gironde, a key wine-producing region of France, is also presented. The exhibition includes historic barrels and casks, along with crates and bottles of wine from various varieties, vintages, and appellations.

The museum tour lasts 1 hour and 15 minutes and concludes with a tasting of 2 or 3 Bordeaux wines, depending on the chosen option.
