Your adventure begins with a convenient hotel pickup at the scheduled time, setting the stage for a thrilling day trip within Daintree National Park.

As we depart, we will journey through the scenic routes of Mareeba, Mount Molloy, and Julatten, eventually reaching the Daintree River Cruise embarkation point. Here, enjoy some tea and biscuits before embarking on a one-hour guided cruise along the river. Keep an eye out for Estuarine crocodiles, lush mangrove forests, and a variety of endemic wildlife!

At noon, we will pause for lunch before proceeding to Mossman Gorge. This segment includes a 1.5-hour guided rainforest walk, suitable for all fitness levels, with the added option for a refreshing swim in the gorge, depending on river conditions. Visitors can also take in breathtaking views from the Mossman River Lookout and traverse the Suspension Bridge.

After soaking in the beauty of this natural gem, we will embark on a 1-hour and 20-minute drive, culminating in the delight of 2 scoops of ice cream or sorbet.

As our day concludes, we will return to Smithfield, at the base of the Macalister Range, and begin our accommodation drop-offs at various locations, including Northern Beaches and Cairns City.

Hotel pickup

This excursion includes pickup services from Cairns, Northern Beaches, and Port Douglas. The pickup times are as follows:

• Cairns City (CBD): Pickup runs from 6:40 am to 7:15 am, with drop off between 6:30 pm and 7:00 pm.
• Northern Beaches: Pickup occurs from 7:20 am to 7:45 am, with drop off at 6:00 pm.
• Port Douglas: Pickup is at 8:20 am, with drop off scheduled from 4:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
