Tour Options

When arranging your visit to the distillery, you can select from two different experiences. Regardless of your choice, we will gather at the designated time at the main entrance of the factory.

Standard Tour (1.5 hours)

Established as one of the oldest and most traditional distilleries in Andalusia, Puerto de Indias offers a fascinating look into its production methods. During this visit, we will explore the factory's infrastructure, supported by a historic subterranean water spring that dates back to Roman times. You will gain insight into the distillation process, utilizing copper stills that blend traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques.

Afterward, we will proceed to the distillation area, where the renowned gins of Puerto de Indias are crafted today. Our journey will continue into an exhibition room housing stills from as far back as 1880. These artifacts will enhance your understanding of the distillation practices prominent in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

The tour will conclude with an enticing gin tasting. You will have 30 minutes in the tasting room to enjoy three distinct gin varieties, accompanied by chips or nuts, to truly appreciate the flavors.

Premium Tour (2 hours)

This extended tour begins with a sensory experience through various showrooms. Following this, we will amble through the gardens of Finca Brenes, the estate housing the distillery. Here, you will encounter fruit trees fundamental to sourcing the raw materials used in gin production.

To complete the first segment, we will descend underground to investigate the Roman water mine, located just beneath the distillery.

The latter part of the tour features an organoleptic tasting, stimulating all five senses. In an exclusive room, you will have the opportunity to sample five gins.

During the tasting, be attentive! At the end, select your preferred gin, and a skilled bartender will incorporate it into the Perfect Serve cocktail ritual. You can savor your drink in the exclusive tasting room or within the gardens, making it a delightful way to wrap up your visit.
