The journey begins at 8 am with your hotel pickup, after which we will depart from Cochabamba towards the high valley. Our path will take us across the Andean plains, where we'll pass by the remarkable Angostura Lagoon, a significant artificial lake cherished by locals for recreation.

We'll then reach the Incallajta fort, one of the most iconic archaeological locations in Bolivia. Interestingly, the term "incallajta" translates to "city of the Inca." This site lies along the Inca Axis, a historical pathway linking notable areas of the Inca civilization, including Machu Picchu in Peru and Samaipata and Incallajta in Bolivia. Samaipata stood as the principal city of Collasuyo, one of the four divisions of the Inca Empire, also known as Tahuantinsuyo, before its eventual division.

During this historical exploration, you will have the opportunity to wander the ancient Inca paths and admire the well-preserved stone structures. We will visit renowned squares, courtyards, and temples, including the Kallanka, while learning about the legacy of the most formidable empire of pre-Columbian America. Toward the end of our visit, we will enjoy a delightful picnic lunch, allowing for further discovery of the archaeological site, where you can capture unforgettable moments through photography of these historical ruins.

Following our fort visit, we will wrap up the tour with our return trip to Cochabamba, arriving at your hotel by 5 pm.
