Before leaving Marketsquare, we will show you places to buy Delftware, the city's famous blue and white pottery.
Next, we will visit the birthplace of Johannes Vermeer, a renowned 17th-century artist. We will discuss his famous works, including 'Girl with a Pearl Earring'.
We will then proceed to the Boter Brug (Butter Bridge), the longest bridge in Delft. We will learn about its history as we walk past it. Moving along the canals, we will arrive at the Old Church, a Gothic-style church from the 11th century, featuring a 75-metre-high tower.
