Beginner's Dive on Berlenga Grande

Explore the hidden wonders that await beneath the sea with this exceptional introductory dive on Berlenga Grande Island. This experience serves as an ideal starting point for those interested in professional diving.

Dive Overview

At the designated time, we will gather at Casal Ponte de Peniche, the site of the diving center. Participants will be provided with all necessary gear for the dive before we proceed to the harbor, where we will embark on the boat and head towards Berlenga Grande!

Following a scenic 45-minute boat ride, we will arrive at this stunning nature reserve and prepare for our initial thirty-minute dive. We will descend up to 22 feet, marveling at the diverse marine life of the Atlantic while learning the fundamentals of diving like experts. Expect to encounter coral formations, sunfish, and intriguing caves beneath the surface!

After the dive, we will return to the boat for a light snack, consisting of a delightful cream cake and seasonal fruits, all while soaking in the picturesque scenery of this historic pirate haven.

Once we’ve enjoyed our snack and taken a moment to relax, we will gear up for our second dive of the day. Keep an eye out for the local fish, including schools of tuna and mackerel bustling around in these rich waters!

Approximately 30 to 40 minutes later, we will board the boat again for our return to the port of Peniche. After arriving, we will reconvene at the meeting point to present you with your diving certificate and conclude the activity, which lasts around 6 to 6.5 hours.
