Berlenga Grande Ferry
Our adventure begins at the Marina de Peniche, where we will board the ferry bound for Berlenga Grande. This island stands as the largest in the archipelago and is the only one among the three that welcomes visitors. Are you prepared for an unforgettable experience?
As we set off on the ferry, we'll navigate across the Atlantic towards the BerlENGA Islands. The voyage lasts approximately 45 minutes, providing ample opportunity to enjoy stunning panoramas of grottoes, arches, rocky formations, and small islets shaped by millennia of natural forces.
Interestingly, these islands are recognized as a protected zone and hold the title of a Biosphere Reserve granted by Unesco. Upon arrival, you will have around three hours to freely discover the wonders of Berlanga Grande.
You will have the chance to roam the island and encounter various native flora and fauna unique to this region. Additionally, this picturesque island has a rich history, including multiple shipwrecks that occurred over the centuries along its shores.
After approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes exploring, we will return to the Peniche Marina.

On the day of the activity, we'll meet at stand 3 of Berlengatur Berlengoest, (Marina de Peniche 2520, Peniche, Portugal) at the agreed time.
Important
- You must be at the meeting point 30 minutes before the start of the activity to redeem your voucher.
- Please note that the 2:15 pm activity will take place on a smaller boat called AzulOrizonte.
- Please note that in order to enter the Berlenga island area you must pay a tourist tax to help with the preservation of the area. The prices are as follows: adults 3EUR, children 7-17 years old 1.5EUR, and children under 7 years old are free.
- Please note that for the tours at 12, 9:15 am & 2:15 pm, the boat is a bit smaller.
