Chimborazo Volcano Day Excursion

Your adventure begins with a prompt pickup from your accommodation in Baños de Agua Santa. Following this, we will embark on a scenic 2-hour drive to the Chimborazo Ecological Reserve.

Upon arrival, our exploration will commence from the initial mountain shelter within the reserve, where you can soak in the spectacular scenery of Chimborazo Volcano. It's fascinating to note that this volcano is the furthest peak from the Earth's center, surpassing even Mount Everest.

After a leisurely 1-hour trek, we will reach the second mountain shelter. Here, we'll pause to regain our strength with a snack before continuing our adventure. Our next destination will be the Cóndor Cocha Lagoon, the highest point we will explore during the day.

Once we have marveled at the stunning vistas, we will begin our descent towards the volcano's base. Subsequently, a bus will transport us back to your hotel in Baños, concluding approximately 8 hours of an unforgettable experience.
