Aquarium Ticket Overview

Perched alongside Poniente Beach, this aquarium stands as a key highlight within the Asturian region.

During your visit, you'll encounter a diverse array of marine species from around the globe. Be sure to explore the section dedicated to the Cantabrian Sea, where a variety of sturgeons, eels, salmon, and trout await, showcasing the unique fauna of Asturias and the surrounding Cantabrian coast.

In the Atlantic section, prepare to be amazed by octopuses, monkfish, sardines, crabs, and jellyfish, among others. Additionally, the Oceanarium features an impressive collection, including turtles, rays, Patagonian toothfish, and notably, large sharks!

Another exciting area highlights the coral reefs, where you can observe a stunning variety of fish, such as clownfish, blowfish, cowfish, and porcupinefish. An enthralling sight indeed!

Within 48 hours of making your booking, you'll receive a pdf voucher by email from our partner supplier, Tixalia, which you must print out and present at the museum ticket office.

If you do not receive the email from Tixalia within this period, please contact us.

You can visit the Gijon Aquarium whenever you'd like. Simply present your printed voucher at the ticket office, at Playa de Poniente s/n. You may consult the aquarium's operating hours via this link.

Children under 3 do not need a ticket, and can enter the Gijon Aquarium for free when presenting any document confirming their age
Food is not permitted
You may only enter the aquarium once, if you leave you cannot reenter with the same ticket
Flash photography is not allowed nor is any kind commercial photography without permission granted prior to doing so
