Description

At the scheduled time, we'll begin this private tour of Poitiers at the entrance to the Notre-Dame la Grande Church.

After admiring the church, we will enter Poitier's historic centre. During the tour, we will discover stories related to the templars, Joan of Arc, and other notable figures in medieval France.

We'll stop at iconic locations such as Place du Maréchal-Leclerc, where we will see the façade of the Poitiers City Hall. The tour will move on to St. Peter's Cathedral, where we will observe the architectural details typical of the Angevin Gothic style.

As we explore the old town, we will discuss the first University of Poitiers and learn about significant events in Poitier's history.

Finally, after a 1.5-hour tour, we will conclude this private tour in front of the Church of Sainte-Radegonde.
