Tallinn Guided Walking Tour

Itinerary

At the scheduled time, we will start our walking tour of Tallinn. Our first stop will be the Old Town Square, located in the historic center of the Estonian capital.

Here, we will pause in front of a special establishment: Raeapteek, the oldest pharmacy in Europe, operating continuously since 1422. We will learn about its historical significance.

Next, we will head to two prominent medieval churches in Tallinn. First, we will admire the exterior architecture of St. Nicholas' Church, dedicated to the patron saint of fishermen and sailors, built in the 13th century. Near it is the Lutheran Cathedral of Our Lady, where we will observe its unique bell tower structure.

We will continue our journey by observing the grand facade of the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, located beside the Toompea Castle, a renowned monument of Tallinn.

After reviewing the fortress's history, we will conclude the 90-minute tour at the St. Catherine’s Passage, known as the “artisans' alley”, where various glass, ceramic, and jewelry items are crafted.

Guided Tour + Jägala Waterfall Excursion

If you have more time and wish to enhance your experience, during booking, you can choose the option that combines the guided tour with a trip to Jägala Waterfall.

In this case, we will first head to Jägala Waterfall, one of Estonia's most spectacular natural sites. Upon arrival at Lahemaa National Park, we will tour the beautiful surroundings. It is the largest natural waterfall in the country, and depending on the season, it may be completely frozen!

After exploring this magical location, we will return to the Estonian capital and conduct the previously described walking tour. This option lasts a total of four hours.

Meeting Points

• Walking tour of Tallinn: we will meet at the Tallinn Tourist Information Center.
• Guided Tour + Jägala Waterfall Excursion: during booking, you can choose to meet at either the Cruise Terminal or at the Tallinn Tourist Information Center.
