During our excursion to the highlands of San Cristóbal Island, you will traverse Cerro Tijeretas, experience snorkelling at Playa Lobería, and encounter the famed tortoises of the Galápagos Islands at Playa Punta Carola.

Tour Overview

We will collect you from your accommodation at the specified time and proceed towards the highlands of San Cristóbal Island.

The journey begins at a Interpretation Center, where you will uncover the islands' rich history. This includes insights into the natural environment, human arrival, and ongoing conservation measures aimed at safeguarding this extraordinary ecosystem.

Subsequently, we will embark on a hike to explore the island's coastal formations at Cerro Tijeretas. From its vantage points, you will have the opportunity to witness frigatebirds in flight alongside various other seabirds. Our adventure continues as we plunge into the water to snorkel amidst sea lions and vibrant tropical fish.

Next, we will arrive at Playa Punta Carola, a pristine white sand beach, offering a chance to unwind or further investigate the underwater life. This area is a well-known habitat for marine iguanas and turtles, which are often seen swimming close to the shoreline.

Finally, we will make our way to Playa Lobería. Here, you can enjoy one last snorkelling experience with friendly seal lions, turtles, and the striking red rock crab, which adorns the volcanic landscape.

Concluding this delightful activity, we will begin our return journey to the starting point, where we will bid farewell after approximately 6 hours of exploration.
