Prepare to dive into the wonders of the ocean for the first time with a scuba diving baptism around the shores of Gili Trawangan, celebrated as one of Indonesia's foremost underwater paradises.

Introduction to Scuba Diving

Are you excited to explore beneath the waves? We'll gather at the scuba training centre situated within the Pesona Beach Resort & Spa Hotel on Gili Trawangan, a premier destination for scuba enthusiasts.

Your certified instructor, fluent in English, will guide you through the fundamental aspects of diving along with essential safety regulations, adhering to the Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) program. Once equipped with our wetsuits, masks, snorkels, and fins, we will familiarize ourselves with these concepts while practicing at the pool in the scuba centre.

After mastering the basics, we will embark on boats that transport us to the designated dive locations. At the time of booking, you can opt for one or two dives.

We'll explore a maximum depth of 12 metres for durations ranging from 30 to 45 minutes, contingent on each diver's oxygen intake. Beneath the waves of Gili Trawangan, you will encounter an array of marine life and vibrant ecosystems found in this Indonesian haven.

Upon concluding this memorable diving experience at Gili Trawangan, we will return by boat to the diving centre, where you can change into your dry attire.

Schedule

This captivating experience offers two time options for diving in Gili Trawangan:

• 8:30 am: Following the introductory training, the dive will commence at 11:30 am, returning to the diving centre by 1 pm.
• 10:30 am: After completing the training, we will enter the water at 2 pm. A 60-minute break for lunch will follow, with a return to the diving centre at 4 pm.

The exact timings will depend on your chosen diving option.

• The minimum age for participating in this activity is 10 years old.
• No prior scuba diving experience is required to enjoy the baptism.
• Before diving, you will need to complete a form attesting that you are in good health.
