Activity Overview

At the scheduled time, please gather at Rua Diogo Alves O Caramuru, number 331. After forming the group and meeting the instructor, you'll receive an overview of the activity and get ready to hit the surf at Praia do Cabedelo, a top destination for surfing in Viana do Castelo.

The session will commence with a theoretical segment, during which we'll outline the class structure, discuss the safety guidelines, and introduce key concepts about the marine ecosystem. We'll also delve into essential technical details like understanding the Atlantic Ocean, the dynamic of waves, and the correct use of your equipment.

Once prepared, we will equip you with a surfboard and a neoprene suit. After this, a vital warm-up on the sand will activate your muscles and help prevent injuries. Here, we'll focus on fundamental surfing skills, including mounting the board, ensuring proper balance, and executing the take-off maneuver.

Subsequently, we'll venture into the water for a hands-on session lasting about 1.5 hours. You'll practice in small groups, limited to 6 participants, ensuring that you receive continuous guidance from the instructor, personalized feedback, and a tailored learning experience. This approach is ideal for honing your surfing techniques!

Concluding our session after 1 hour and 45 minutes, we'll wrap up with farewells and return the equipment.
