Your adventure begins at 8 am with a pick-up from your accommodation in Tacna. Following a one-hour bus journey, we will climb to an impressive altitude of 3500 metres (11500 ft) to reach the Apacheta lookout. From this vantage point, you'll encounter the diverse terrain of the region, showcasing the inter Andean valleys, the Yucatamani volcanoes, Tutupaca, and the Cordillera del Barroso mountain range.

At the viewpoint, you’ll have the opportunity to partake in a traditional offering ceremony to the Earth, mirroring the practices of the area's ancestors.

Afterward, we will board the bus to explore Tarucachi, a colonial-era church that mirrors many features of the Tarata church. As we enter, you will notice the unique mestizo colonial decorations crafted with natural pigments, revealing a charming and lesser-known interior.

Next, the journey proceeds to Tarata, where we will stroll through the main square and visit the church. Following this, we’ll venture onto the Santa Maria Inca trail, offering breathtaking views of Tarata's exceptional landscape and the Qala Qala caves, which hold significant spiritual value for the local inhabitants.

We will then continue by bus to the Titaco thermal baths. In this splendid natural setting, you can unwind and indulge in the baths at your own pace, soaking in the relaxing atmosphere after a full day of exploration!

Upon completing your time at the thermal baths, we will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before making our way back to Tacna, with a drop-off at your hotel by 5 pm.
