Activity Overview

At the designated time, we will gather at the specified meeting point, conveniently located adjacent to Los Glaciares National Park. Together, we will immerse ourselves in this remarkable area, recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, observing the striking Perito Moreno Glacier.

As we approach the glacier's edge, we'll prepare ourselves for the kayaking experience by donning appropriate gear to keep warm: thermal suits, dry suits, boots, and gloves will be provided to ensure your comfort.

Your instructors will conduct a brief session on kayaking techniques, covering essential safety guidelines before we embark on our journey.

It's time to embark on the kayaks! You'll have the opportunity to view the Perito Moreno from a remarkable new angle during this unforgettable kayaking tour, which will last approximately 90 minutes.

After our kayaking adventure, we will relax with a warm beverage in a cozy cabin. Following this, you will have an hour to explore the glacier at your leisure or to enjoy a picnic you've prepared.

Our activity will conclude after about 4 hours, as we make our way back to the meeting point.

Transport & Meal Options

During your booking, you can opt for the additional service of hotel pickup and drop-off. If selected, we will collect you from your accommodation in El Calafate approximately an hour and a half before the activity commences. This choice also includes lunch, extending the total duration of the tour to 7 hours.

If you have selected the tour with hotel pickup, on the day of the activity, we'll pick you up at your hotel an hour and a half before the indicated start time.

If you've selected the tour without a pickup, we'll meet you at Perito Moreno Kayak Experience's office located at Calle 3015 Nº 2028, 9405 Calafate, Santa Cruz, Argentina (https://maps.app.goo.gl/v6n8qQjTY9AgtcoE9).

In both cases, please be ready to go 10 minutes in advance.

Ticket to Glacier Park

You can buy the entrance ticket to Los Glaciares National Park at this link or you can buy it on the day of the tour at the ticket office. In this case, you'll have to pay the entrance fee in cash in Argentine pesos.
