Embark on an exhilarating journey through the via ferrata of El Chorro, where you will explore the breathtaking Desfiladero de los Gaitanes Natural Park and experience the thrill of a zipline!

El Chorro Via Ferrata Climbing Expedition

Your adventure begins at the La Garganta restaurant, situated in the quaint village of El Chorro. From this meeting point, a brief 10-minute walk will take us to the starting point of the via ferrata.

Before we set off, we'll provide all necessary climbing gear and review the essential safety protocols that must be adhered to throughout the experience. Then, we’ll dive into the heart of the adventure!

The via ferrata in El Chorro is nestled in the stunning Natural Park of Desfiladero de los Gaitanes and promises a perfect blend of excitement and stunning vistas. This intermediate-level route features climbing, a zipline, and even a Tibetan bridge.

Guided throughout the journey, we’ll ascend to a height of 820 feet (250 meters), taking in impressive views of the Tajo de la Encantada reservoir and the picturesque mountains surrounding us. Along the way, we will traverse a suspension bridge, soar through a 35-meter (114 feet) zipline, and discover many unexpected thrills!

After completing the adventure, we’ll return to the starting point to conclude our unforgettable experience.
