At the scheduled time, our team will greet you at your hotel in Holguín and transport you in a classic car. Traveling in this timeless vehicle, we will head north toward the charming coastal village of Gibara, renowned as the White Village of Cuba.

Upon arrival, a welcome cocktail awaits you at a central spot in the town. We will then embark on a guided walking tour of Gibara's historic center. Our journey begins at the Fernando VII Battery Fort, constructed in the 19th century by Spanish forces to safeguard the area from pirate incursions. As we admire this remarkable fortification, we will also enjoy stunning views of Gibara Bay.

Next, we will head to the Plaza de Armas, surrounded by beautifully preserved colonial buildings. Close by, the Natural History Museum features fascinating exhibits related to biology, including the impressive skeletons of a sperm whale and a pilot whale!

Following our museum visit, we will stroll to the Gibara viewpoint, offering a breathtaking perspective of the town’s cobbled streets juxtaposed against the Atlantic Ocean. Afterwards, we will enjoy a well-deserved local lunch at a nearby restaurant in the old town, with options ranging from seafood and fish to chicken, pork, or beef.

Post-lunch, our exploration continues at the Panaderos Cave, part of the Polja del Cementerio cave system. This cave, adorned with stalactites and stalagmites, features inscriptions detailing the names of the bakers who once frequented the site.
