The museum boasts 12 permanent exhibitions, among which the following are noteworthy:

Alfred C. Glassell, Jr. Hall: delve into the life of this philanthropist as you explore his passion for recreational fishing and the conservation of various marine species.
Matter & Motion: Quantum Chemistry to Astrophysics: an ideal spot to discover the latest breakthroughs that scientists uncover on a daily basis.

Opening Times

The Houston Museum of Natural Science welcomes visitors daily at the following hours:

May 27 to August 10: 9 am to 6 pm
August 11 to May 26: Mondays to Thursdays from 9 am to 5 pm; Fridays and Saturdays from 9 am to 6 pm

The last admission is granted 30 minutes before closing time.
